1.Life Processes

In this Chapter we learn to differentiate between living and non-living organisms. We know that living organisms are those who can Run, Breathe, Grow over time. But organisms that are not running but fast asleep are also considered to be alive as they are breathing. Organisms which do not grow visibly are also alive, e.g., plants. Some animals can breathe without visible movement.

2.Control and Co-ordination

In this chapter we would deal with human body, a complex machine performing tons of functions and processes to maintain and sustain life. We Explore how the body controls its movements and coordinates its actions with other parts of the body and the environment.

3.How do Organisms Reproduce?

Here we would discuss Reproduction, the process of producing new individuals of the same kind. Types of reproduction- Asexual and sexual: Fission, budding, vegetative propagation, fragmentation are some different types of asexual reproduction. It does not require any reproductive organs.
